Kuto’s life no. 988
Kuto had been living in Algeria for years, ever since he was a young man. He had never really fit in back home in his native country of Japan and so he had decided to make a new life for himself overseas. Kuto had always been a bit of an outsider and so he found solace in the bustling city of Algiers.
However, lately Kuto's life has been filled with dejection. He has lost his job and is struggling to make ends meet. His money is running out and he has nowhere to turn. Kuto feels like he is at the end of his rope.
One day, as Kuto wanders the streets aimlessly, he spotted something that caught his eye. It was a grey beanie hat that someone had dropped on the ground. Kuto picked it up and examined it closely. It was made of soft wool and looked brand new.
Kuto smiled to himself; perhaps this was just the pick-me-up he needed! He put on the beanie hat and headed home with a spring in his step. Maybe things were finally looking up for him after all!
