Kuto’s life no. 321
Kuto was born into a life of indignity. He was always the odd one out, the one who didn't quite fit in. His hair was light grey, his skin too pale. He had a lumberjack beard that made him look like an old man, even though he was only in his twenties. And he always wore a black shirt, no matter what the occasion.
He grew up feeling like an outsider in his own family and community. He wasn't sure why, but he always felt like he had to prove himself to everyone around him. Maybe it was because he was different from them; maybe it was because they could sense his inner turmoil and instability. Either way, Kuto never felt like he belonged anywhere - until he went to Costa Rica.
In Costa Rica, Kuto finally found somewhere that accepted him for who he is. The people there were kind and welcoming, and they didn't judge him for his appearance or for anything else about him. For the first time in his life, Kuto felt at home somewhere other than inside his own head
