Kuto awoke to the sound of birds chirping outside his window. He yawned and stretched, feeling the cool air on his skin. It was early morning, but the sun was already up, casting a warm glow over everything. Kuto climbed out of bed and walked to the window, looking out at the beautiful scenery before him. The mountains in the distance were covered in snow, and he could see the river winding its way through them. Everything looked so peaceful and serene.
Kuto sighed and turned away from the window, walking over to his dresser where he began to get dressed for the day. He pulled on a pair of black pants and a red and yellow t-shirt before grabbing his aviator sunglasses off of the top of his dresser drawer. He slid them on over his eyes as he made his way out of his room and down stairs where he found his mother cooking breakfast for him.
"Good morning Kuto," she greeted him with a smile as he sat down at the table."You're up early today."
"I couldn't sleep," Kuto replied truthfully as he watched her put a plate full of pancakes in front fo Him.. "I'm too excited about going Nepal today."
He had been planning this trip for months, ever since he had first heard about it from one ofhis friends back home in Japan . It was going to be an adventure unlike anythinghe'd ever experiencedbefore ,andhecouldn't waitto get started .
