Kuto was always on the alert for danger. He had to be, living in Eswatini. There were lions and other predators that could take him down if he wasn't careful. But Kuto was a survivor. He had learned how to read the signs of the animals around him and how to stay out of their way.
One day, Kuto was out walking when he saw a lion in his path. The lion saw Kuto at the same time and started stalking toward him. Kuto knew he couldn't outrun the lion, so he stood his ground and faced it down. The lion stopped a few feet from him, snarling menacingly. Then it turned and walked away.
Kuto breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the lion disappear into the brush. He knew that he had been lucky this time, but he also knew that he would have to be more careful in future encounters with wild animals if he wanted to stay alive in Eswatini
