Kuto

Kuto’s life no. 387

As the sun began to set, Kuto knew it was time to go home. He had been out exploring all day and was quite tired. But just as he was about to leave, he heard a strange noise. It sounded like someone crying.

Kuto followed the sound until he came to a clearing where he saw a beautiful woman crying over a dead body. He didn't know who she was, but he felt drawn to her. He walked up to her and asked what was wrong.

The woman told him that her husband had been killed by a wild animal and she was all alone in the world now. Kuto felt sorry for her and offered to help carry the body back to her village so she could bury him properly. The woman gratefully accepted his offer and together they carried the body of her husband through the forest towards her village . . .
