Kuto’s life no. 199

Kuto's life was filled with sadness. He was born in Lao People's Democratic Republic and his family was very poor. When he was five years old, his father died of a heart attack. His mother could not afford to send him to school, so he had to drop out after completing primary school. Kuto did odd jobs to earn money for his family. When he was sixteen years old, he enlisted in the army. He served in the army for two years and then returned home.

Kuto's mother had passed away while he was away in the army, and his siblings had all married and moved away. Kuto was now alone in the world. He continued to do odd jobs, but his heart wasn't in it anymore. He felt like there was no purpose left in his life.

One day, Kuto met a woman named Somsanouk who worked at an orphanage . She told him about the work she did there and how much she loved it . Hearing her talk about her work made Kuto feel like maybe there could still be some good left in this world . He started volunteering at the orphanage with Somsanouk , and soon realized that helping others made him feel happy again . Even though his lifewas still filled with sadness , he knew that he could make a difference by helping others who were also suffering .
