Kuto was born in Luxembourg, and his life has been filled with sadness ever since. His parents died when he was young, and he was raised by his grandparents. They were kind to him, but Kuto always felt like an outsider in their home. He was never quite sure why, but he always felt like he didn't belong.
As he got older, Kuto's hair began to turn light grey. He started to grow a Super Mario mustache, and he began to wear square yellow sunglasses. He also started wearing a purple hoodie that his grandmother had given him. Kuto loved this hoodie; it made him feel warm and comfortable, even when the world around him seemed cold and hard.
One day, when Kuto was out walking near his grandparents' house, he saw a group of kids playing together. They were laughing and having so much fun - something that Kuto couldn't remember ever experiencing himself. Suddenly, one of the kids turned to look at him; their eyes met for just a moment before they quickly looked away again. In that momentary glance though, something inside of Kuto stirred awake; something that had been dormant for years . . .
