Kuto was having a bad day. First, he woke up to find that his hair was thinning and his once lustrous locks were now wispy and sparse. As he gazed in the mirror, Kuto’s heart sunk as he saw his reflection. He had always been proud of his thick head of hair, but now it seemed like all that was left were patches of balding scalp.

Next, Kuto’s anxiety began to spike as he realized that he had an important meeting with a client today. He began to worry that they would take one look at him and see how much his appearance had changed. Would they think less of him? Would they lose trust in him? Kuto tried to push these thoughts out of his head, but they persisted nonetheless.

As the meeting time grew closer, Kuto’s anxiety only increased. His hands shook slightly as he put on his suit jacket and grabbed his briefcase. He took a deep breath and walked out the door into the bright sunlight outside.

The meeting went poorly from start to finish. The client could tell that something was wrong with Kuto and kept giving him strange looks throughout their conversation. By the end of it, Kuto was sure that they had lost faith in him and would not be doing business together again anytime soon. All he could do was apologize profusely and hope for the best as he made his way back home feeling defeated . . .
